Inside Picture of Daegu Subway after Fire disater

Today It is work-off because Labor Day. So I have much free time in my house. I am spending time searching the internet. By doing this I find some article about fire accidents.

As Korean, I had memory about Daegu Subway Fire which took place in February 2003. At least 130 persons were killed and an equal number injured. 

Occurred in the United States last week after a large accident and related, 

U.S. Rhode Island 23 Feb nightclub fire, the scene of a memorial for the victims the local law enforcement officials and firefighters are looking at the scene.

a breech ofsecurity is a growing voice of self-examination. In a nightclub in Chicago,17, February 2003 just four days after 21 people died of suffocation in a nightclub fire in Rhode Island said the 97 people died. 

Financial Times (FT) 24 "from the Rhode Island nightclub tragedy in Chicago and not the effectiveness of safety regulations and the safety of American society stems from insensitivity," he said. 

Of the 270 casualties of the West Warwick nightclub in Rhode Island rushed to the front door to avoid fire accidnet. But All  four of the club's Exit Signs to guide visitors were poor, so people didn't not find exit signs. This condition made the victoms more.

These fire accidents  remind me how safety facilities are important. 

Exit Sign which was melted in Daegu Subway Fire accident.

You can see the picture that exit sign was melted. When we construct our house, school,

office,etc, we must install safety devices such as Emergency Lights , Rescue Lifter, Fire Extinguisher,... .

In case of public building, these are regulated by law.

What do you feel after looking the left picture?

This picture tell you the qualtiy of safety devices is very important. The Exit lighting must stand heat.

When you want to buy them, what do you have to concern at first?

Quality....?

Price.........? 

Are these items observed with standard by regulated by goverment or not?

Finally, one more thing, Exit signs are not just needed in risky siutation. I mean,,,,When I enter the new building which I am first time in this building, Exit Signs show me the way where I want go up or down. Therefore Exit Signs are with everybody also Exit signs are with you in every time every where. Do you think about blind people? How can they find Exit signs? These must to be changed to braille exit signs.
